Opti Coach

Nolan Irey

Nolan got into sailing through his family.  His grandfather and grandmother are both past commodores of WRSC, and is great-grandfather is one of the club’s founding fathers.  He grew up in the program continuing on to race lasers on the Bay and big-boats in the local Wednesday Night races.

He attends Centre College where he intends to major in Mathematics and follow a 4-2 pre-engineering track.  He’s not sure what type of engineering, but so far is interested in civil or environmental engineering.

Besides sailing, his favorite sport is lacrosse, and he hope to make the NCAA tournament while at Centre College.
